Slow release fertilizer will continue to feed your lawn over the next few weeks until the next application. If we notice any weeds, we spot treat them at this time as well. We're also keeping an eye out for any other issues in your lawn such as turf damaging insects and disease.

Early Summer Treatment - We make another application of slow release fertilizer to Bermuda and Zoysia lawns at this time to promote new growth and improve turf health and color. Slow release fertilizer will continue to feed your lawn over the next few weeks until the next application.

Late Summer Treatment - For Bermuda and Zoysia lawns, we apply a turf fertilizer with only 5% nitrogen which helps to limit vertical growth this time of year. The fertilizer contains phosphorus and potassium. These elements will promote root growth, as well as providing heat tolerance and drought resistance. The iron that has been applied in the fertilizer will help in greening up the turf.

Early Winter Treatment - For Bermuda and Zoysia lawns, we apply enhanced calcitic lime at this time to help raise the soil pH and improve the soil condition. Soil pH plays a critical role in soil health and turf quality. Optimal soil pH is a major factor in nutrient availability, microbial activity, soil structure and overall turf vigor. Maintaining the correct soil pH allows for the most efficient use of applied and soil stored nutrients. We apply lime at this time since it takes a few months for the lime to have an impact on soil pH.
